Kramer Announces the FC-331 3G HD-SDI to HDMI Format Converter
Kramer Electronics has released the FC-331 3G HD-SDI to HDMI format converter. The unit converts an SDI audio and video signal to an HDMI output signal with the same resolution and frame rate.

The FC-331 accepts a multi-standard SDI signal, either SDI (SMPTE 259M and SMPTE 344M), HD-SDI (SMPTE 292M) or 3G HD-SDI (SMPTE 424M) on a BNC connector and converts the audio and video signal into an HDMI signal output via an HDMI connector.  It also has a looping input on a BNC connector so the original SDI signal can be simultaneously sent to a second destination in its original format.

The FC-331 is HDTV compatible and comes in a compact Kramer DigiTOOLS® enclosure with active input and output LED indicators.  The format converter also has an SDI audio group selection rotary switch to select an SDI input stereo channel from among the 8 pairs of audio in the signal (0 to 7).

The FC-331 3G HD-SDI to HDMI format converter is available through authorized Kramer Electronics resellers worldwide.
