Kramer Electronics, Ltd. Attains ISO 9001:2000 Certification
Jerusalem, March 1, 2004 – Kramer Electronics, Ltd., a worldwide supplier of analog and digital audio, video and computer graphics signal distribution, switching and processing equipment for the broadcast, production, security, education, home theater and ProAV presentation markets, announced that it has attained ISO 9001:2000 certification for its management systems employed at its Headquarters in Jerusalem.
A series of intensive reviews of Kramer Electronics engineering, manufacturing and customer support services were conducted by the IQC (Institute of Quality & Control) BVQI Office in Israel. The office is the sole representative of BVQI (Bureau Veritas Quality International) which is an internationally recognized registrar. As a result of these reviews, the IQC has registered the certification of Kramer Electronics, Ltd. as compliant with the ISO 9001:2000 quality management standard.
The ISO 9001:2000 quality management standard is part of the ISO 9000 and 14000 families which are among the most widely known and successful standards ever. The ISO 9001:2000 standard has become an internationally recognized reference for ensuring the highest possible quality in business to business dealings. The ISO 9001:2000 standard is fairly new and represents a complete rewrite of the previous ISO 9001:1994 standard.
