Kramer @ ISE 2016 in Amsterdam

This year, visitors to the Kramer booth at ISE will be treated to live, interactive application environments such as Collaborative Classroom, Control Room, Executive Meeting Room, and more! Kramer’s complete AV portfolio – Presentation, Control, Collaboration, Connectivity, and Audio – will be on full display inside each application. We will also be showcasing new and innovative products and technologies!

Kramer returns this year with three value-driven learning sessions led by three Kramer masters of AV. Our instructors will present solutions and strategies for addressing the latest needs and technological challenges in modern meeting spaces and learning environments.

“How to Enable Collaboration in an IT Infrastructure”

Abstract:

In this course, participants will learn about configuring IT routers, building VPN and tunneling, and combining networks − all with the goal of enabling a true team collaboration solution in a seamless meeting room environment. Neta Lempert, VP Digital Business Development at Kramer, will discuss the latest trends in BYOD and collaboration and address the challenges involved. He will also talk about the recent marriage between AV and IT and the implications of this new market reality. Participants will leave this course armed with important IT tools for dealing with system installation, control, BYOD, and collaboration implementation.

The ubiquity of smart devices among students today has influenced a fundamental transformation in education. During this session, Mike Shaw, Business Manager for Kramer UK, will explore how recent technologies in BYOD learning environments can offer a new toolbox of solutions for educators and enable students to be more engaged. He will discuss the challenges and opportunities in supporting a wide variety of devices and operating systems. He will also talk about how advancements in wireless media presentation change how we display and share information, leading us to the exciting new world of the collaborative learning space.

Session Goals:

  • Learn how recent technologies in BYOD learning environments can offer a new toolbox of solutions for educators
  • Learn how advancements in wireless media presentation change the way we display and share information
  • Look at key components of the collaborative classroom model from a technologist's point of view

“Make Room for Success: Huddle Space Optimization”

Abstract:

The modern office space presents a variety of challenges as to where and how we share information and ideas effectively. With an abundance of AV sources and a shortage of meeting space resources, Huddle Spaces becomes a vital part of the culture and success of the company. Considering various collaboration, control and interface options, we will strive for the ideal intuitive huddle room with minimal equipment and optimal smoothness of operation.

Session Goals:

  • Learn about various tools and options for Huddle Space control, AV interface and collaboration
  • Learn how to provide a great end-user experience keeping technology out-of-sight, out-of-mind
  • See how explicit and implicit control make for a more intuitive, hassle-free meeting space
