Background
SailPoint Technologies required a high-performance Audio-Visual solution for its Pune office, designed to support executive meetings, training sessions, hybrid collaboration, and townhall events. The space consisted of two independent meeting rooms with a movable partition, requiring seamless switching between independent and combined modes. The client required enterprise-grade reliability, superior audio clarity for hybrid meetings, and a simplified user experience, all built on a secure and scalable AV architecture.
Goals
The primary objective was to design a flexible AV ecosystem capable of operating as Room 1, Room 2, or a fully combined large-format meeting space without manual reconfiguration. The solution needed to support 4K video distribution, wireless collaboration, USB camera sharing, and advanced audio processing with Acoustic Echo Cancellation. Additionally, SailPoint required centralized automation, minimal user complexity, isolated AV networking for enhanced security, and a future-ready system capable of supporting evolving video conferencing platforms.
Solution
The project was successfully executed by SRSG Broadcast India Pvt. Ltd., whose engineering expertise and structured deployment approach ensured seamless implementation. From system design validation to rack integration, DSP tuning, control programming, and final commissioning, the team demonstrated exceptional precision and adherence to industry best practices.
Integrated Video Architecture
At the heart of the video system is the Kramer VS-66H2, enabling flexible routing of multiple HDMI sources to multiple displays. This allowed dynamic source-to-display mapping in both independent and combined room modes. Local laptop inputs were facilitated via Kramer SWT3-22-HU-WP-T wall plates, supporting USB-C and HDMI connectivity for seamless BYOD integration.
For long-distance, lossless 4K60 signal transport, the solution leveraged Kramer EXT3-TR and Kramer TP-583R, ensuring reliable HDBaseT transmission of video, USB, Ethernet, RS-232, and IR over structured cabling. Wireless collaboration was enabled through the Kramer VIA Connect3, allowing presenters to share content without cables while supporting hybrid conferencing workflows.
Professional Audio Processing & Distribution
Audio was engineered for superior clarity and precise conferencing support using dual Kramer DSP-62 AEC processors. These provided:
- Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC)
- Auto-mixing
- Noise suppression
- Independent and combined room DSP logic
Microphones were routed into the DSP, processed for echo-free hybrid communication, and amplified via the Kramer PA-240Z. Ceiling speaker distribution ensured even coverage and controlled zoning, maintaining intelligibility whether rooms operated independently or as a single combined environment.
USB & Hybrid Meeting Optimization
Hybrid meeting performance was significantly enhanced using the Kramer SWT3-41-U, enabling seamless switching and sharing of USB peripherals such as cameras, microphones, and conferencing devices across both rooms. This architecture eliminates the need for manual cable changes, ensuring a smooth and intuitive user experience during both independent and combined room operations.
The solution enables:
- Seamless switching and sharing of cameras and USB peripherals between rooms
- True BYOD flexibility for laptops connecting to in-room AV and conferencing devices
- No USB re-plugging or manual intervention during room combine scenarios
- Simplified integration with major VC platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom
The result is a fully synchronized audio-video-USB ecosystem that delivers a consistent hybrid meeting experience, allowing users to instantly connect, collaborate, and share content while leveraging all in-room peripherals with maximum efficiency.
Centralized Control & Automation
The entire system is orchestrated by the Kramer KC-Virtual Brain-1, delivering centralized control logic across audio, video, USB, and room combine operations. User interaction is simplified via Kramer RC-308 for one-touch operations and Apple iPad-based touch interface for advanced control. Each room operates independently with dedicated control and can seamlessly combine to function as a single large meeting space when required.
Automation ensures a consistent and intuitive user experience with minimal technical intervention, enabling effortless control of the entire meeting environment. Key functions include:
- Room mode selection (Room 1 / Room 2 / Combined)
- Display ON/OFF control
- Source routing
- Microphone controls
- Volume & mute control
- Camera control during hybrid meetings
