Challenge
When The Ward Law Group moved into its 25,000 sq. ft. Miami headquarters in April 2025, the firm wanted the space to reflect its stature: sleek, professional, and technologically advanced. The vision went far beyond stylish interiors.
They needed:
- reliable, easy-to-use AV across eight meeting rooms,
- a system flexible enough for daily consultations, depositions, and remote collaboration,
- and a lobby LED wall that would double as a branding stage and wow-factor for clients.
The challenge was clear: build an AV ecosystem that was powerful, scalable, and effortless to operate — even for non-technical staff.
The Solution
The Ward Law Group partnered with DEKOM, a global AV & IT integrator with over 25 years of expertise and offices across the U.S., to bring its vision to life. Together, they designed and deployed a Kramer AVoIP-based system tailored to the demands of a modern law firm.
The choice of AVoIP was driven by key advantages:
- High performance and ultra-low latency for mission-critical communications
- Flexibility and scalability to support multiple meeting spaces and future expansion
- Ease of use so that attorneys and staff — not just AV specialists — could operate the system intuitively
- Cost-effectiveness by future-proofing the infrastructure for years to come
Thanks to the remote configuration capabilities of Kramer’s KC-VirtualBrain platform, programming was completed remotely by a global DEKOM team combining expertise from multiple countries — reducing time and costs while ensuring a seamless setup from day one.
The Result
The new AV ecosystem at The Ward Law Group is powered by a backbone of Kramer KDS-17 encoders and decoders paired with Netgear switches. This infrastructure seamlessly distributes content from a range of sources — including BrightSign media players, Shure microphones, and MTR Systems — to Samsung displays across the headquarters.
Each conference room is equipped with AudioCodes scheduling panels, enabling quick room booking and one-touch activation of Logitech Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) components for video calls and presentations. At the core, the system is operated through the Kramer KC-VirtualBrain platform in tandem with Q-Sys AV control, bringing together devices from multiple manufacturers into a single, intuitive interface. What would normally be complex is now effortless.
In the months following installation, the impact has been clear:
- Standardized meeting rooms that anyone can operate with ease
- Consistent, stable video calls with instant connectivity
- A lobby LED wall that elevates branding, events, and client experiences
- Future-ready infrastructure, built to scale as the firm grows
